developing news in concord. this apartment fire in concord. just got off the phone with the concord police department. this went to two alarms reported at 6:55. under control about a half-hour later. right now, you see crews are doing salvage operations the top apartment is destroyed. no injuries were reported by the concord fire department but the top apartment you can see pretty big holes in the roof. the lower unit was damaged by water as they fought the fire. still smoke coming from this. this is on tyoga road. the nearest big street -- let me pull out from the map. the biggest street is san miguel road. it's right near the b.a.r.t. tracks. it's not causing a major traffic issue. stay with ktvu. we'll have a little bit more on this straight ahead. >>> 8:00. turning to our other top story -- police in vallejo searching for suspects in a violent attack. one person was killed. four others were wounded in a shooting on a home on humboldt street. ktvu's tara moriarty has been on this story since 4:30. you got new information about the victims.

concord, livermore, napa, santa rosa. yesterday, it was the north bay. patchy fog but hazy and warm. mostly sunny. higher clouds. next rain, thursday, friday. next thursday, friday. although it's looking more like a colder system than a rainy system. we need the rain. if you thought where is the breeze, there has not been much. others in the east bay, have a pretty good offshore wind continuing. that for shom the offshore breeze is in place. that means the coast has really nice weather. temperatures on the lows are even warmer that morning than yesterday it will be sunny. mostly cloudy. there's some higher clouds. i think most of those day towards more central california. 30s for some. 49. redwood city, san rafael is at 41. livermore is 32. so some of those higher clouds to the south, the forecast model picks up on it a little bit. mainly about san jose south and then the fog will fall apart. there will be some but then it will go away. today, a challengey start. hazy sunshine. highs, 7 in clearlake. 70 in gilroy. sonoma is in there. st. helena warmer, 6
